DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS
13th July, 2013
a) There
will be a launch for Family Evangelism on 20th July 2013 at Andrews
Motel from 08:30Hours to 16:00Hours. To attend are couples who are Family Life
Leaders and Elders in charge with their wives. The amount payable per couple is
KR120 for lunch and Materials. Churches and Companies to sponsor the delegates.
To this end, the Family Life Leaders are invited to attend a short preparatory
meeting at Libala Church tomorrow 14th July 2013 from 08:00hrs to
09:00hrs.
b)
The Evaluation Meetings, for Sabbath School
and Personal Ministries, will take place on 14th July 2013 at Libala
Church. Time is 09:00hrs to 11:00hrs. To attend are Personal ministries and
Sabbath School Leaders and Teachers.
c)
The New Dawn Magazine - a magazine for
Lusaka conference is out and copies are going at k10.00 per copy. Admin Elders
and Company Leaders are encouraged to get copies for the Churches from the
Pastor’s Office.
d)
The Education Department of the Lusaka
Conference is requesting for details of all the Teachers in the District. The
details to be submitted include: full names, speciality and contact details
(email, mobile number, physical and postal addresses). The Teachers should also
indicate if they attended the Education Seminar which was held at Libala Church
on 26th May 2013. These
details to be submitted to the Pastor’s Office through Admin Elders and Company
Leaders
e)
The Children’s Week of Prayer for this
year will run from 21st to 27th July 2013. The Lusaka
Conference has prepared preaching materials and Churches are encouraged to
obtain a copy from the Pastor’s Office.
f)
The dates for Camp Meeting have been
moved forward by a month. Camp Meeting will run from 1st to 7th
September 2013 as opposed the earlier 4th to 10th August
2013. The Main Speaker will be Pastor Hamilton. Mulendema while E.V Chiyokoma
Isaac and E.V Chilembo Stanely will be Associate Speakers. The theme is: “We
are his disciples”
g)
The Pastor’s Office will be open today
Sabbath 13th July 2013 between 14:30 and 15:00hrs for collection of
sermons and Sabbath School materials.
There will be Choir Rotations within
the District today 13th July 2013 and next Sabbath 20th
of July 2013. The schedule of rotations for Today is attached hereunder. The
schedule for the 20th July, 2013 will be sent later.
The Sabbath School Mission
story books for both Children and Adults for the 3rd Quarter can be
collected at the Pastor’s Office.
There will be an e-Church
Training on 21st July, 2013 at Njanji Church. Time 08:30-13 hours. To attend
are all Communication Secretaries, website Administrators, e-Church Trainers,
Communication Committee members and Elders in Charge of Communication.
There
will be a meeting for AMO leaders and their Secretaries Today 13th
July 2013 at 14:00hrs. The venue is Chilenje Main SDA Church.
There will be an extra ordinary meeting for all
Evangelists and those who wish to serve God as such at Arakan SDA Church on
Sunday 14th July, 2013. Time 07:00 to
08:00 hours. Theme: ‘Let’s win souls to Christ
for time is at hand”
