DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS

1ST MARCH, 2014


  1. STEWARDSHIP

There will be a Stewardship Seminar tomorrow Sunday, 2nd March
2014 at Njanji Church starting at 08:00 - 16:30 hours.  To attend are all Treasurers, Stewardship
Leaders and all Elders. Lunch will be provided.

 


  1. BUILDINGS
    AND PROJECTS

There
will be a meeting tomorrow Sunday, 2nd March 2014 at Njanji Church.  To attend are the District Buildings and
Projects Leadership and all Church and Company Building Chairpersons. Time:  08:30 hours.

 


  1. HEALTH

The
Health Seminar continues today at Arakan Church.  Tomorrow Sunday,  the Seminar will be at Chilenje Main for
Cooking Demonstrations and the programme will start at  08:30 Hours to 16:00 Hours. Kindly carry
packed lunch and

 

5.       YOUTH

a)           
There will be an Emergence
AY Council meeting tomorrow Sunday, 2nd March, 2014 together with
the District Evangelism Leaders at Njanji Church at 08:00 hours. All should be
in uniform. All Local Church A.Y. Leaders to come with the names of their
preachers for the Youth Week of Prayer. All those churches that did not
affiliate to the District are requested to come with the affiliation fees
tomorrow.

 

b)          
There will be an
Adventurers Council Meeting today, 1st March, 2014 at Muyooma
Church.  To attend are all Council members.  Time: 16:00 hours.

 

c)           
Registration for S.I.D.
Camporee which will be held in Livingstone from 14th to 21st
April, 2014 for the Pathfinders is still going on.  Registration fee has been reduced from
KR430.00 to K400.00.  The deadline for
payments has been moved to 20th March, 2014.

 

 
MUSIC

There
will be a Music Fellowship on 9th March, 2014 at Chilenje Main Church.
Participation fee is K2.00 per singer. 
Time: 08:30 to 16:30 hours. Kindly carry packed Lunch.

 


  1. CAMPMEETING

There will be a meeting for
all Camp Meeting Chairpersons on 9th March, 2014 at Arakan
Church.  Time: 08:30 hours.

 


  1. COMMUNICATION

(a)         
There
will be a Communication Training on the 16th of March 2014. To attend are all
Communication Leaders Communication, Committee Members, Web Site Administrators
and Elders in charge of Communication. Venue Chilenje Main Church. Time
08:30-1300 hours. 

 

(b)        
All
Churches are being requested to submit news articles for the District Newsletter.  Deadline for submission is 29th March 2014.
These should be submitted to the District Communication Leader or the Local
Church Communication Leaders.
