CHILENJE MISSION DISTRICT DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS 5th APRIL, 2014

  1. ADMINISTRATION

 

(a)          There will be a Lusaka city crusade.   Also concerning the city crusade, the Gideonites are invited to submit the names of the Elite in society as prospective members to attend the crusade.  They must clearly indicate full names, contact numbers, position and place of work. This information must be sent to 0974 950700, 0955 666637, 0966 776229 or email ahabanyati@yahoo.com

 

(b)         There shall be an SID Stewardship Seminar at University Church from 04-07 April, 2014. Note that it shall a joint seminar with CZC. You are therefore, expected to announce, promote and send all the SSPC members for Sabbath, Sunday and Monday. (If we fail, then all the Elders in Charge of Stewardship, Stewardship Leader, Trust Service Leader, and the Treasurers to attend please. We will need to prepare only for lunch on each of the three days.)

 

(c)          Tithe and offering envelops are available though in small quantity, we can collect. Let's educate our members to use envelops more than three to four times.

 

  1. STEWARDSHIP

 

a)            There will be a Stewardship Evaluation meeting on Sunday, 13th April, 2014. To attend without fail are: All Stewardship Leaders, Treasurers and Assistant Treasurers. Time and Venue will be communicated in due course.

 

  1. YOUTH

 

(a)          There will be a District Youth Family Life tomorrow, 6th April, 2014 and Churches to pay K80.00 and Companies to pay K50.00.

 

(b)         There will be a Camp out for Adventurers at Kings High Way from 24th – 27th April, 2014 and the theme is “GROWING IN CHRIST.”  Fees are K60.00 per Adventurer.

 

  1. MUSIC

There will be a District Choir rehearsal tomorrow, 6th April, 2014 at Njanji Church. To attend: All interested members and other musicians willing to serve the Lord at this level. Time is from 09:00 hours to 11:00 hours. 

 

BUILDING

 

(a) The Chairperson, District Building Project is requesting members to contribute K5.00 towards buying a block for the District Mission House. These funds should be collected by 30th April, 2014. All Church and Company Treasurers should deposit the contributions to the District Account or  submit to the District Treasurers.
