(a) There will be a Conference Health Ministries Retreat on 15th June; 2014 at Lusaka Central Church Hall from 09.00 to 14.00 hrs. All District and Church Health Leaders are requested to attend without fail.
(b) The Conference Lay Preacher's Convention at Chilongolo Church for beginners, intermediate and advanced will run from 4th to 13th July, 2014. Registration fee is K9.00 per person and must be paid through the District or direct to the Conference. All are invited.
(c) Church Clerks are asked to make sure they update church membership systems. Soon an evaluation will be called. Get ready for this. If you are experiencing any difficulties contact the Pastor.
(d) Church Clerks who have not yet received the Church Membership System Template to immediately contact the Pastor. Those who have received must immediately begin updating the membership.
(e) All Churches and Companies should take note that Sunday, 22nd June, 2014 has been set aside as a Special day to reclaim missing members.
(f) There will be a DPCC on Sunday, 28th June, 2014 at 08.00 hours, to be followed by the District Council on the same day at 11.00 hours. Venue: To be advised.
(g) All Churches and Companies are requested to prepare candidates for the forthcoming baptism which will take place on Sabbath, 28th June, 2014.
(a) There will be a Lusaka Conference Youth Congress Camp for both Ambassadors and Young Youths. Venue is Silver Rest in Chongwe. Dates: 4th to 8th July, 2014. Registration fees for the Silver Rest Camp is K50 and Camp Fee is K70, total K120 and not K260 as earlier announced. Deadline for the registration for the Camp is Sunday, 15th June, 2014.
(b) There will be a Youth Executive meeting at Chilenje Main Church on Sunday, 15th June, 2014 at 08.00 hours. Dress Code: Young Adults and Ambassadors Uniforms.
(c) On the same day (Sunday, 15th June, 2014), there will be a Youth Council at 09.00 hours at Chilenje Main Church. Young Adults and Ambassadors to be in Uniforms.
(d) There will be a Master Guide Refresher Course/Workshop at Salena School on Sabbath, 21st 2014 from 14.00 hours to 17.30 hours and Sunday 22nd June, 2014 from 08.00 to 17.00 hours. Dress Code: Class ‘A ’ Uniform. Sunday Dress Code is Field Uniform. All Master Guides in the district are invited and all those who are interested are more than welcome
5. HEALTH
(a) There will be a combined Nutrition and Medical Missionary Training to be held from 29th June to 27th July, 2014. Venue: Chilenje Main Church. Time: 09.00 hours 17.00 hours. Members in formal employment will be training from 17.30 hours to 19.00rs daily. Churches and Companies are encouraged to sponsor some participants. All interested to attend.
(b) Participation fees have been reduced to K200.00 per person and the breakdown is as follows:
i. Registration – K100.00
ii. Nutrition tuitions – K50.00
iii. Training Logistics – K50.00
6. STEWARDSHIP
(a) Stewardship Leaders to ensure visitations are intensified during the month of June and to conduct stewardship evaluations in their local Churches/Companies using Stewardship Quarterly Forms.
(b) The Stewardship Leaders should undertake an evaluation in their local Churches/Companies in preparation for the District evaluation to take place on Sunday, 15th June, 2014. Stewardship Report Form is attached.
