DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SABBATH, 2ND AUGUST 2014

  1. ADMINISTRATION

a)            There will be a Religious Liberty Convention starting from 10th - 13th September 2014 at Government Complex. This is the first of its kind. Participation fees which will cover accommodation, food and Congress materials are K2,350 single occupancy, K1,660 shared rooms. This convention will require all local Religious Liberty leaders, Adventist Lawyers & MPs, other denominational Leaders and other interested Church members. All Pastors will be expected to attend. Deadline for payments is 14th August, 2014.

 

b)           The Muluse 2014 Camp Meeting will run from 10th to 16th

August, 2014.  THEME: REACHING OUT FOR A HARVEST. THEME SONG : HARK THE VOICE OF JESUS CALLING.

 

c)            The Zambia Union Conference Education Department will be having a Teachers’ Convention in Livingstone from 12th to 16th August, 2014.  All Adventist Teachers are required attend.

 

d)           The Lusaka Conference will be having an Entrepreneurship Training.  The training will include feasible projects that participants might consider undertaking. The program is rich and very beneficial in empowering the Church members and it has already helped many other Church members to change their attitude and have since become equipped. Departments such as AY, Music etc, and even Societies such as AMO and Dorcas can conduct such empowering workshops. For registration, kindly register with the Stewardship Department in your local Churches and Companies. The participation fee is K20.00 per participant.  The trainee registration form is attached here to.   For more details, kindly contact the District Pastor.

 

  1. AMO

(a)            The AMO Conference Rally will be held from 26th October, 2014 to 2nd November, 2014.  All men to attend.

 

  1. 3.           CAMP MEETING

(a)            This announcement goes to all Camp Meeting Chairpersons in Churches and Companies that this Sunday the 3rd August, 2014 there will be a meeting at Muluse Camp Site to facilitate sharing of Plots. All to attend, the point of departure for Muluse is Arakan Church at 08:30 hours and each Church to contribute K30.00 for transport and food. 

 

  1. 4.           YOUTH

 

(a)            There will be District Youth Community Service on Sunday, 31st August, 2014 at Chilenje Clinic.  Venue. TBA.

(b)            There will also be a District Youth Crusade starting from 21st September to 4th October, 2014. All Youths to prepare for this event.
