DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS
6th SEPTEMBER, 2014
a) In the month of September, we are commencing the process of putting in place Special and Nominating Committees to elect 2015 office bearers. The actual dates will be communicated in due course. All Churches are advised to start preparing for this activity.
(b) There will also be a District Youth Crusade starting from 21st September to 4th October, 2014. All Youths to prepare for this event.
(a) The AMO Conference Rally will be held from 26th October, 2014 to 2nd November, 2014. All men to attend.
(a) There will be a District Pathfinder preparation rehearsal for the upcoming Fair on Sunday, 14th September, 2014 at Njanji Church. Time: 09.00 to 16.00 hours. All Pathfinders to attend and carry packed lunch. Participation fee is K10.00 per person.
(b) There will be a Pathfinder Week of Prayer which will conclude with the World Pathfinder Day. Dates: 7th to 13th September, 2014. (List of Preachers attached).
(c) There will be Adventurer Investure Examinations on Sunday, 28th September, 2014. In preparation for the same, all Adventurers are required to attend lessons on Sunday, 7th September, 2014 at Chilenje Main Church at 14.00 hours. All Adventurers and their Leaders to be in Uniform. Adventurer Leaders should accompany the Adventurers without fail.
(d) There will be an Adventurer Social Outing in October. The date will be announced later.
(e) There will be a Community Service Programme on Sunday, 14th September, 2014 at Chilenje Clinic. Each Pathfinder, Ambassador and Young Adult is requested to contribute K5.00 towards the programme. This will be followed by a march past to promote the forthcoming Crusade. Meeting place is Arakan Church. All Pathfinders, Ambassadors, young adults and Master Guides as well as all those who are interested to be in their respective uniforms.
4. MUSIC
(a) There will be a meeting for all Church Music Directors on Sunday, 7th September, 2014 at Njanji Church at 09.00 hours to prepare for the Inter-District-Music Fellowship. Kindly observe time.
(a) There will be training for Literature Evangelists which will start on Sunday, 21st September up to Thursday, 25th September, 2014, at Central Church at 08.00 hours daily. All to carry packed lunch.
