DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS
13th SEPTEMBER, 2014
a) In the month of September, we are commencing the process of putting in place Special Nominating Committees and Nominating Committees to elect 2015 office bearers. Kindly see the attached schedule for the actual activities and dates.
(b) Kindly take note that the Religious Liberty Convention which should have run from 10th - 13th September 2014 at Government Complex has been postponed. New dates will be communicated. Any inconvenience caused is greatly regretted.
(c) There will be auditing tomorrow, 13th September, 2014 at Chilenje Main Church at 09.00 hours. All Treasurers and Church Auditors are to attend. Treasurers make sure they carry all documents as earlier communicated to by the District Treasurer. The Conference Auditor will be auditing all congregations on this day.
(d) There will be special meeting tomorrow, 13th September, 2014 at Chilenje SDA Church. Time is 17:30 hours. To attend are all District Executive members, Youth Executive Members and the organisers of the Youth crusade. Kindly observe time.
(a) The AMO Conference Rally will be held from 26th October, 2014 to 2nd November, 2014 at Muluse Camp Site. Participation fee is K120.00 per person. This is towards food and transport. All men are invited to attend.
(a) The District Pathfinder Fair has been moved to 28th September, 2014. Venue is Kabulonga Boys. Each member to pay K10.00 for participation and transport. In this vein all Pathfinders should meet at Njanji on Monday 15th, Tuesday 16th and Thursday 18th September 2014 at 15.00 hours. Pathfinder Leaders are requested to take note of this announcement.
(b) Today is World Pathfinder Day.
(c) The lessons for adventurers will continue and will be held every Sunday at Chilenje Main from 14.00 hours to 16.00 hours. This is to prepare for the forthcoming Adventurer Investure Examinations on Sunday, 28th September, 2014 and actual Investure on Sabbath, 11th October, 2014 at Njanji Church.
(d) There will be a social outing for Adventurers on Sunday, 12th October, 2014. Charges and place will be announced later.
(e) There will be a Community Service Programme tomorrow, Sunday, 14th September, 2014 at Chilenje Clinic. Each Pathfinder, Ambassador and Young Adult is requested to contribute K5.00 towards the programme. This programme will be followed by a march past to promote the forthcoming Crusade. Meeting place is Arakan Church at 07.30 hours. All Pathfinders, Ambassadors, Young Adults and Master Guides, as well as all those who are interested to be in their respective uniforms.
(a) There will be training for Literature Evangelists which will start on Sunday, 21st September up to Thursday, 25th September, 2014, at Central Church at 08.00 hours daily. All to carry packed lunch.
