DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS

27th SEPTEMBER, 2014

 

  1. ADMINISTRATION

a)              Churches are reminded that in the month of September, we are commencing the process of putting in place Special Nominating Committees and Nominating Committees to elect 2015 office bearers.  Schedule of activities already circulated.

 

b)              There will be baptism today, 27th September, 2014.  All Churches/Companies to prepare.

 

c)               There will be special orientation training for members of the Nominating Committee today, immediately after baptism at Chilenje Main Church.

 

d)              The DPCC and District Council meetings will be held tomorrow, Sunday, 28th September, 2014 at Arakan Church. Time: hours and  hours respectively. Kindly observe time.

 

e)              Elders Handbooks are available at the Conference at K30.00. All Elders without the Handbook should ensure that they acquire one.

 

 

f)               There will be a meeting for all professional Teachers/Lecturers on tomorrow, Sunday, 28th September, 2014  at Libala Church  at 09.00 hours.

 

  1. 2.           YOUTH

(a)            The District Pathfinder Fair will take place tomorrow, Sunday, 28th September, 2014. Venue is Kabulonga Boys.  Each member to pay K10.00 for participation and transport. Departure will be at 07.00 hours from either Chilenje Main Church or Arakan Church.

 

(b)            There will be Adventurer Investure Examinations on Sunday, 28th September, 2014 and this will be followed by the Investure Day which will be on Sabbath, 11th October, 2014 at Njanji Church. 

 

(c)             There will be a social outing to Kalimba Farms for Adventurers on Sunday, 12th October, 2014. Charges are K35.00 per Adventurer.

 

  1. 3.  MUSIC

(a)            There Inter District Music Fellowship has been moved to Sunday, 12th October, 2014 at Njanji Church from 08.00 hours to 16.30 hours. Participation fee is K3.00 per singer. Churches and Companies are requested to send their Choirs. Come with packed lunch and observe time.

 

  1. AMO

(a)            The AMO Conference Rally will be held from 26th October, 2014 to 2nd November, 2014 at Muluse Camp Site.  Participation fee is K120.00 per person. This is towards food and transport. All men are invited to attend.
