DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS

18th OCTOBER, 2014

  1. 1.          
    ADMINISTRATION

 

(a)         
There will be first reading of 2015
Church Officers today, 18th October, 2014 and the second reading will be on
next Sabbath 25th October, 2014.

 

(b)         
There will be ordination of Elders and
Deacons on 1st November, 2014 at Njanji Church. Time 14:00 hours.

 

(c)         
There will be a DPCC on 9th November, 2014 to set
up a Nominating Committee for 2015 District Officers.

 

(d)         
There will be a meeting for all Crusade members
including those that have been nominated by the churches for the respective
committees today at Njanji SDA Church. Time is 14:30 hours.

 

(e)         
The District Crusade
will be held from 27th October, 2014 to 9th November, 2014. 

 

(f)          
Elders Handbooks are available at the Conference
at K30.00. All Elders without the Handbook should ensure that they acquire one.

 

(g)         
Deacons and Deaconesses Handbook are
sold at K15. Make orders through the accounts office at Lusaka conference.

    YOUTH

 

(a)            
There will be a Pathfinder Camp out starting 14th
to 21st December, 2014 in West Wood, Mwembeshi. 
The fees for each pathfinder are as follows: K120.00 for registration,
K100.00 for food and K20.00 for transport. 
Leaders to start preparing.

 

(b)             
There will be a Lusaka Conference Youth Leadership retreat in Siavonga from 23 – 26th October, 2014. Registration fee is K300 per delegate. Deadline for payments was 13th October, 2014.

 

(c)             
All Youth Leaders in Churches and Companies to start preparing for
the January, 2015 Induction Programme in order to equip the Youths with
happenings on the induction day. The enrollment forms will be sent to all
Churches and Companies. In line with this all Leaders and parents to prepare
the Youths with proper uniforms. Announcement to continue running every Sabbath

    AMO

 

(a)         
The AMO Conference Rally will be held from 26th October, 2014 to 2nd November, 2014 at Muluse Camp
Site.  Participation fee is
K120.00 per person. This is towards food and transport. All men are invited to
attend.

 

(b)         
There will be a meeting for all AMO Leaders today,
Sabbath,  at Chilenje Main.  Leaders to bring along with them lists of
those attending the Rally.

    HEALTH

 

There is a Health Convention going on at Makango Hill,
Ndola Rural, which started on Wednesday, 15th to 22nd
October, 2014.
