DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

1. 1.           ADMINISTRATION

(a)          There will be ordination of Elders and Deacons today 1^st November, 2014 at Njanji Church. Time 14:00 hours. All the Administration Elders should accompany their candidates.

 

(b)          The Elders coming for ordination should ensure that they come with their copies of an Elder's Handbook and a Church Manual.

 

(c)          Deacons and Deaconesses Handbook are sold at K15. Make orders through the Accounts office at Lusaka conference.

 

(d)          There will be a DPCC on Sunday 9^th November, 2014 to set up a Nominating Committee for 2015 District Officers.

 

(e)          The District Crusade is on and the details arevas shown below. All churches are encouraged to invite visitors and also attend. The Crusade will run up to 9^th November, 2014.

1. 2.           AMO

The AMO Conference Rally started on 26^th October, 2014 and will run up to 2^nd November, 2014.  The venue for the Rally is Chinyanja SDA Church, Westwood Mission, Mumbwa.

 

1. 3.           YOUTH

(a)             There will be a Pathfinder Camp out from 7^th to 14^th December, 2014 in West Wood, Mwembeshi.  Participation fee is K120.00 per person, broken down as follows: K20.00 registration and K100.00 for food and transport.

 

(b)            There will be a Pathfinder Council tomorrow Sunday, 2^nd November, 2014 at Arakan Church at 09.00 hours. All Pathfinder Leaders to attend without fail.

 

(c)             All Youth Leaders in Churches and Companies to start preparing for the January, 2015 Induction Programme in order to equip the Youths with happenings on the induction day. The enrolment forms will be sent to all Churches and Companies.

 

1. 4.   MUSIC

There will be a meeting for all Church and Company Music Directors as well as Leaders of all singing groups on Sunday, 2^nd November, 2014 at 09.00 hours at Njanji Church to prepare the music rota for the ongoing District Crusade. Observe time.

       

1. 5.   HEALTH

There will be a meeting for all Health Leaders today, 1^st November, 2014 at Njanji Church at 14.00 hours. The purpose of the meeting is to plan for the Health EXPO to be held on Sunday, 2^nd November, 2014 at the Crusade Site.  All Health Leaders in Churches and Companies to attend without fail. Observe time.
