DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS

8th NOVEMBER, 2014

 

 

  1. 1.          
    ADMINISTRATION

 

(a)         
There will be a DPCC and a District Council
tomorrow Sunday 9th November, 2014 at Chilenje Main SDA Church to
set up a Nominating Committee for 2015 District Officers. Time 09:15
– 11:00 Hours.

 

(b)         
There will be a big
Sabbath next week on 15th November, 2014 to mark the end of the
District Crusade. All churches are encouraged to prepare for this event.  There will be baptism on Sabbath after
crusade.

 

(c)         
On 22nd November,
2014 the District Nominating Committee shall be sitting to receive submissions
on the report that will be circulated during announcement at Njanji.

 

(d)         
On 23rd November, 2014
there shall be a special DPCC and Council meeting to approve the names of the District
Officers for the year 2015.

 

(e)         
Training for district and church
leaders will begin on 30th November, 2014. All the church leaders
are advised to prepare for this event. Other details will be availed latter.

 

(f)           
The Zambia Union
Conference teacher's convention that was scheduled for August 2014, and
postponed, will take place from 17- 21 December, 2014. Venue is Hillcrest
secondary school in Livingstone. Registration is now open to all until 30th
November, 2014. Registration fee is K250.00 (food and accommodation). Transport
is K300.00. Total is K550.00.

 

  1. 2.        
    YOUTH

(a)            
There will be a District Youth Council meeting on
Sunday 9th November, 2014 at Chilenje Main SDA Church.  Time 10:00 hours.  To attend are all Local Youth leaders from
Adventurers, Pathfinders and Young Adults (for both 2014 and 2015 Youth
Leaders) and all to be in uniforms.  This
is a must attend meeting.

 

(b)           
All Youths Leaders to start preparing for
induction program which will be in January, 2015.

 

(c)            
There will be a Pathfinder Camp out from 7th
to 14th December, 2014 in West Wood, Mwembeshi.  Participation fee is K120.00 per person,
broken down as follows: K20.00 registration and K100.00 for food and transport.

 

(d)           
All Youth Leaders in
Churches and Companies to start preparing for the January, 2015 Induction
Programme in order to equip the Youths with happenings on the induction day.
The enrolment forms will be sent to all Churches and Companies.

 

  1. 3.   HEALTH

There will be Health Expo tomorrow morning, Sunday
from 10:00 to 14:00 hours at the crusade site (Mwize Grounds).  Members are encouraged to come and buy health
products.
